- I come from a family with an incredibly crafty mom (that woman can do anything!) and a very talented sister. However, I sort of avoided anything. In October 2006 though I decided I was going to teach myself to knit. I bought one of those kids's Klutz books and learned that way! While I don't have a huge amount of projects under my belt (more than shown here but not by much) I've loved doing it and met some awesome people in the process! In non-knitting, I'm a single mom and work as a Systems Analyst. Definitely a geek although I don't always have time to express my geekiness.
